He
is an attorney in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. He graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1979, and served on active duty in the U.S. Air Force for five years, and the military reserves four years. He graduated from Washington and Lee University School of Law, in Lexington, Virginia in 1993, with a focus on bankruptcy law. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Trial Advocacy
(2004) from Temple University, Philadelphia.
He began a solo practice in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, in January 1994. He dedicates 75% of his practice to Bankruptcy Law. He is
a member of the Middle District Bankruptcy Bar Association and the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association.
He
practices in a converted 2 story home, sharing office space with four other attorneys, Jane Acri, Esq. (570/826-5554), who specializes in family law, and with Thomas Marsilio, Esq (also retired Lt.Col, USMC), Veronica Steadle Kisailus, and Clement Kisailus, who specialize in Personal Injury, Workmen's Comp, and Social Security Law (570/824-9949).
In the past ten years, Atty. Kurlancheek has successfully represented over 1,500 Chapter 7 bankruptcy clients, located primarily in northeastern Pennsylvania, including the counties of Luzerne, Monroe, Lackawanna, Pike, Susquehanna, Wyoming, Columbia,
Wayne, Sullivan, and Bradford.
